Friday Fun - Win Books and Seeds from the Secret Seed Society!

Thursday, 1 December 2011

Here at Myakka we love the Secret Seed Society. These lovely people have a great selection of charming children’s book complete with seeds to grow and then eat. Each book introduces a vegetable heroes (our favourite is Rudi Radish) and other vegetables to children which they can then grow themselves, indoors or out. The Secret Seed Society is certified by the Soil Association so you can be sure that the seeds are all top notch.

We have two lovely Story and Seed packs to give away on this week worth £20 each.

All you have to do to enter is like our Facebook page and tell us what you favourite vegetable to have with your Christmas Dinner is. And if you’re on Twitter follow us and quote: #FF @MyakkaFurniture  @SECRETSEEDsoc I love Peter Parsnip!

If you would like to enter via email too, send a note to us with *Peter Parsnip* in the title, giving is your name and address details.

This great competition is open for one day only, on Friday 2nd December so make sure you get in quick!

I actually do love Peter Parsnip, particularly glazed in honey and roasted! But my favourite since I was little has always been good fresh green beans, still with a tiny hint of a crunch to them. Yum

(Oh, and roast potatoes, but do they count as a veggie in this case?)
