A 'cracker' of a prize for you!



Inspired by last week's Climate Week recipe which featured our neighbours Wyke Farms cheeses. We have rustled up a 'cracker' of a prize draw for you, some Wyke Farms cheddar cheese and delicious butter all made here is sunny Somerset, the home of the humble cheddar.

Wyke Farms have 150 years of family farming experience, and continue to use Grandmother Ivy’s celebrated recipe for turning their fresh milk into award-winning cheese with perfect texture and exquisite taste. 

We have a selection of Wyke Farms cheese & butter to give away!!

Prize draw is open to UK residents only. Entries must be submitted by 13th April 2012. No purchase necessary.

Prize is a selection of Wyke Farms cheeses and butter worth £25.00.

You will be notified by email if you have won and your details will be passed on to Wyke Farms so they can dispatch your prize. One winner will be chosen at random. The draw is open to residents of the UK. Only one entry per person is permitted via email. There is no alternative prize and the prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

If you were not a member of the mailing list for the monthly Myakka Furniture update via email, by entering the competition, you are agreeing to be added to Myakka Furniture’s newsletter.

  4. Best cheese dish is a dish of cheese as cheese is good enough to have all by itself. Best cheese recipie I know is Toasted Cheese and Ham Sandwich. The Melted cheese with the crispy bread and the ham all go together so well. Cheese is one of those core food items that is best left simple.

    I absolutely adore making my own home made macaroni cheese. I use cheddar, and some paler, milder cheeses. The trick is to put some flour in with the milk and cheese when making the sauce.

  55. twice baked potatoes. jackets cooked , middle scrapped out and mixed with cheese , spring onion and ham , little butter and splash of milk. then i mix it all , up and spoon it back in. this way i can leave to cool in the day and reheat for 20 mins for a quick dinner. lovely with beans !!

  60. Cheese Onion & Potato Bake. In a Heatproof dish, layer part boiled potato slices, grated mature Wycke farms cheddar, and sliced onion(sprinkle a little black pepper on each layer) pour over 300ml milk, top with grated cheese & tomato slices. Cover & Bake gas 5 for 30mins uncover & cook for further 30mins. Also great with layers of bacon bits.

  79. Add a little to suet dumplings...make your hotpot or stew...put in oven dish. Spoon in the suet/water/flour mixture with a little cheese.
    Bake in the oven...it is so moreish, very filling and delicious.
