Occasional Tables and Chairs – Perfect for Guests!

Thursday, 18 December 2014

Over the festive season, it is often the case that our homes have a lot more people in than it normally has to deal with. With these extra people, the demand for somewhere to sit or to pop down a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie can reach competitive levels. This is where an occasional table or chair or some stools & benches are perfect!

We have a great range of occasional tables and stools, especially from our Surin range. Many are hand carved from solid monkey pod wood can be used as both a useful side table and a handy perch for a person. Our Surin Infinity Table is one of our most popular tables that is perfect next to your sofa but works equally well as an occasional stool. The Surin Bruno Bear Table is the perfect side table and his friendly face is bound to be a conversation starter.

The Mallani Bar Perch & Dining Stools are perfect to have to have at home. The Dining Stool is the perfect height for most dining tables and when not needed for a big family gathering it is perfect for a bedroom, or tucked away neatly in the corner.

A nest of tables are perfect if you have guest coming over. All of our nests of tables slide neatly together when not in use, but when an extra side table is need for drinks and nibbles, they make the perfect solution. The Contemporary Nest of Tables is a customer favourite with good reason – they take very little of you floor space up but provide three useful surfaces when entertaining and the slightly curved legs are a real design feature making them both pretty and practical.

Best of all – many of our occasional tables and chairs can still be delivered before Christmas. If it is in stock and only requires our standard delivery service, then as long as you order by midday Monday 22nd December, we can get it to you for the big day – and delivery is FREE!
