Autumnal Owls

Tuesday, 22 September 2015

Elephants have long been the most popular animal here at Myakka, but Owls are on the up and are becoming more and more popular. The Surin Owl Table has long been one of the most popular pieces within the Surin range and this autumn we are welcoming even more wise old owls to the Myakka range.

A new addition to this season is the Tweed Owl Cushions that is available in three coordinating colours. Available in chocolate, maroon and natural colours, these cushions have an appliqued owl on the front designed from a number of different tweeds and felts. These would make a great addition to your sofa or your favourite chair adding a colour and a friendly face.

Another addition to the range this autumn includes the Tweed Owl Door Stop. This cute doorstop is both pretty and practical, with a weighted bottom to hold your door open. The owl is made from different colour tweed materials to create a welcoming looking owl, perfect for any room of your home.

One of our favourite and most popular accessories are the Painted Carved Owls. This set of three owls are a lovely way to add colour and interest to your home. Carved from wood and painted in coordinating muted colours, these wise looking owls would look great in a home office or to add some colour to your living room.

And finally our favourite owl here at Myakka is the Surin Owl Table. We think Caroline’s review sums him up nicely...

‘’A wise decision
I bought this to stand beside my chair, a good place to stand my book, glasses and cup of coffee. The owl is fun, and I have a cushion to match. Nicely made and very solid and stable.’’

Carved from monkey pod wood by skilled artisans in Thailand with a hand waxed finish. This owl has a round table top and is the perfect height for your sofa side, just add a cup of tea and a good book and you have the perfect companion.

So why not introduce a new companion into your home this season?
