If you know Myakka you’ll know that wherever possible we like to reduce, reuse and recycle. So it was a no-brainer when we were introduced to this new Recycled Aluminium range of colourful tableware.
Recycled aluminium saves up to 90% carbon emissions compared to the production of new aluminium from bauxite AND it saves on landfill too!
Our beautiful new range includes pieces suitable for any season. A large Salad Bowl which might double as a bread basket or fruit bowl, Salad Servers, a triple Dips and Nibbles Set, which we would serve our chutneys and pickles in, and a choice of two sizes of Heart shaped dishes perfect for your Bombay mix, but equally at home on your dressing table for your jewellery!
The manufacture of these striking pieces involves the aluminium being recast then highly polished to a smooth finish. The red ombré colour is applied and allowed to dry before being hand finished with a clear enamel and then a final polish. All items are food safe.
Our Northern Indian supplier is a family run business with a workforce of over 150 skilled artisans.
