Twice a year every year we make the trip over to Asia to meet with our suppliers. In October, Simon one of our Directors flew over to India, Thailand and Indonesia to meet with our suppliers and sign off lots of new lovely designs.
These trips allow Simon to catch up with suppliers and talk through new product designs, discuss quality control, ensure fair trade standards are always being maintained and to build and develop a strong working relationship.
During this visit lots of exciting new lines were signed off and samples are now on the way over ready for photography. This is spring we welcome lots of new pieces to both the Kediri Teak range and the Surin range as well as other additions to the Myakka range.

This range is made in Indonesia and during this visit Simon worked with our suppliers signing off new samples and working with our suppliers to ensure that every detail is perfect with the current products and the new. |
Simon also visited Thailand to see more of our Surin range being made. The carving of these unusual pieces are done by family units in their villages before being finished at production units. This visit gave Simon the opportunity to visit these some of these family units and the production facilities where they are bought together and dried in out in the Thai sunshine.
