For the third year running we have scored 100/100 in the Good Shopping Guide. The Ethical Company Organisation indexes each company based on a number of factors including impact on the environment, human rights and animal rights and we have scored 100!

The Ethical Company Organisation carries out research based on 15 ethical criteria under three general headings of Environment, Animals and People to give each company an overall ethical score. The aim to encourage companies and businesses to uphold high ethical standards by highlighting both the good ethical practices and underlining the more negative practices that need to change.

Here at Myakka, we’re delighted to have received a top Ethical Company Index (ECI) score of 100 in their latest research, ahead of larger high-street retailers such as Homebase, John Lewis and B&Q. To see the full report on furniture retailers, please click here.

We’ve been awarded the Ethical Accreditation for our corporate social responsibility since 2009 and have earned our place in the Good Shopping Guide also.  This leading directory provides detailed information on everything from banks to butter, washing machines to jeans to help consumers make informed decisions on shopping with a clear conscience.

We work hard here at Myakka to ensure that we trade ethically and we are excited to achieve this top score!
