This Autumn we are welcoming two new collections to the Myakka family. Both exclusive to Myakka, the new Coast and Maison ranges have been hand crafted from mango wood finished with either a white wash (Coast Range) or a limewashed effect (Maison range).
The Maison range is inspired by French style and features cabriole legs and carved detailing finished with a limewashed effect for a soft appearance. This romantic range has been exclusively designed by Myakka and is hand crafted in Rajasthan, India. The capsule collection features eight pieces that would be perfect in a bedroom, living room or any room of your home. Our favourite pieces include the Maison 6-Drawer Chest, with its deep, spacious drawers perfect for storing everything from jumpers to t-shirts; the Maison Carved Bookcase which has three shelves for storing and displaying your favourite books and bits & pieces in the most stylish way possible; and the Maison Cabriole Console Table which would make the perfect dressing table when combined with the Maison Mirror.
The Coast range has a very different feel about it, with contrasting warm wax and weathered whitewash finishes, this range is quintessentially country in styling. Made in Rajasthan, India from mango wood the coast range features antiqued cup handles and sleek hand waxed tops and drawer fronts. The Coast range would sit perfectly in any shabby chic styled home. Some of our favourite pieces include the Coast Space-maker Sideboard and the Coast Seat & Store bench. Both are perfect for the hallway, dining room or bedroom and offer lots of storage space without having a large footprint.
