We are all very excited here at Myakka as we have just been shortlisted for the Somerset Business Awards. This will be Myakka’s third year of being shortlisted- this year for the Service Excellence Award. We pride ourselves on the level of customer service we provide our customers, so to be on the short list is a great endorsement of the good work we do. Our customer service team, along with everyone at Myakka, deliver some of the best customer service around and it would be great to recognise that with an award!
This year the Somerset Business awards attracted 20% more entrants than last, which makes us even prouder to be shortlisted! The selection process involves completing an in-depth application form, from there we were long-listed and had to complete a presentation to a judge (very scary as we at team Myakka don’t have to do many presentations!), then we heard we had made it into the top three. Now we will have to wait to find out the result on November 16th at the smart, black tie awards dinner.
The awards are organised by the Somerset Chamber of Commerce with the aim of celebrating the success of business within Somerset and raising their regional & national profile. Every year the awards become more and more popular, so to make the short list is a real honour.
So fingers crossed for the 16th November. Ten of the Myakka team will be getting dressed up and heading over to Taunton for the awards evening. All we have to do now a find an outfit and make our all-important menu choices!
