This Friday we are saying goodbye to one of our Customer Service Team members, Claire. She has been multi-tasking with Myakka for over four years fulfilling many roles from working in the shop, accounts, social secretary organising our Christmas party, general entertainer and finally Customer Services. Many of our customers will have spoken to Claire over the last few years, and many have phoned in and were asked ‘which Claire were you speaking to, with an ‘i’ or without’, to answer your questions this is Claire with an ‘i’!
To celebrate Claire’s leaving, a number of the Myakka team went out for an Indian on Thursday night. Donna and Liz from customer services brought along a hat for every person there, which raised many laughs. Especially the auburn wig which the warehouse guys all looked fabulous in and the pink shower cap which was passed around all night long! Orrin won the challenge of the night by wearing all 18 hats at once, including an army helmet and a witches hat!
Today at tea time the team gathered round to give Claire some flowers and gardening vouchers (she loves pottering in the garden) and her chair was covered in balloons.
Claire will be missed by the whole team (particularly that rather dirty laugh of hers) as she goes on to a new adventure and we will miss her lots. She has the most amazing amount of product knowledge and always knows the best ways of working problems out on the system.
